We developed a personalised leadership programme that annually empowers over 200 new managers to explore their values, strengths, and challenges.

Each year, several hundred PwC professionals take the significant step into their first managerial roles. This transition marks a substantial change in their responsibilities, demanding much from these new managers. To support them in this crucial phase, PwC engaged InContext to design a leadership programme tailored specifically for these emerging leaders. The objective is to help them discover, develop, and strengthen their unique leadership styles, while reinforcing their place within PwC and accelerating their growth.

Our Approach

We developed a personalised leadership programme that annually empowers over 200 new managers to explore their values, strengths, and challenges. This programme enables them to identify their potential as leaders, helping them become the leaders they aspire to be. This highly individualised programme connects participants with their beliefs, values, and skills, aligning these with the needs of their team and the organisation. They are given the opportunity to experiment with new behaviours, ultimately becoming the most effective leaders they can be.

New managers now possess a deep understanding of their own behaviours, the benefits these bring, and the untapped opportunities they can still explore. The personal and practical nature of our programme allows participants to immediately apply their insights in real-world scenarios. This has a direct impact within the organisation, enabling PwC to rely on a solid group of leaders who feel connected to both each other and the organisation. They create value for themselves, their teams, and PwC as a whole.
