Medior Consultant: Strategy, Culture & Transformation

The Organisation

InContext Consultancy Group is an ambitious consultancy agency focused on organisational development and strategic behavioural change. With extensive expertise, creativity, and determination, our team of 20 enthusiastic professionals supports organisations, teams, and individuals through transformation processes, enabling them to operate more successfully.

InContext assists in the further development, optimisation, and growth of teams and organisations. Our consultants connect business objectives with concrete visible behaviour, giving collaboration real significance through innovative tools and serious games that align with corporate culture and core values.

We do this in a manner that is engaging, inspiring, and yields tangible results — whether it concerns more efficient working methods, result-oriented conversations, negotiation processes, maximising revenue, strengthening culture, or improving collaboration. InContext provides advice and support in implementation, regardless of the type of organisation and the level at which changes need to take shape.

The atmosphere within the organisation is informal, non-hierarchical, and growth-oriented, leveraging everyone’s strengths to achieve above-average performance.

The approach of InContext consultants is creative, unorthodox, and passionate, yet always focused on achieving sustainable results. Our client portfolio includes renowned (publicly listed) organisations that consciously choose quality, such as ASML, Rabobank, TU Delft, Fokker, and Fugro. For these clients, InContext develops impactful programmes, innovative models, and business simulations aimed at learning, improving, and transforming. The consultants at InContext are internationally active, just like our clients.

The Cluster: Strategy, Culture & Transformation

This cluster focuses on guiding organisations through change. It analyses organisations and their change-related challenges, designs targeted and suitable change processes, and assists clients as a partner and ‘trusted advisor’ in their successful implementation. Our transformation projects are diverse in nature, including strategy implementation, digital transformation, cultural change, and post-merger integration.

The Role

Medior consultants in this cluster are responsible for the acquisition and development of impactful change projects, as well as project management, execution, and account management with clients. They also oversee junior consultants, freelancers, and actors within their projects, collaborating closely with fellow consultants and the back office. They build strong relationships with their clients and are known to them as ‘trusted advisors’. The nature of the work requires flexibility in role fulfilment, ranging from project leader or change manager to coaching and facilitating workshops, as well as conceptualising and guiding creative interventions. They work closely with colleagues in other clusters to integrate serious gaming, leadership development, and learning pathways into their change projects.

The Criteria

  • A completed qualification or relevant experience in economics, business administration, or related fields. The ideal candidate should have an affinity for both strategy and change, as well as an understanding of human behaviour.
  • Scientific level of thinking and working.
  • A credible conversation partner for top executives regarding their business and organisation.
  • A minimum of three years’ work experience in developing and implementing change programmes for private and/or public organisations.
  • An experienced and passionate presenter, trainer, and facilitator with at least three years of demonstrable experience.
  • An entrepreneurial personality who is proactive, creative, open, persuasive, and sensitive, with a passion for development and an interest in people.
  • The ability to manage multiple projects and development programmes in various stages simultaneously.
  • Willingness to travel within and outside the Netherlands for multi-day programmes.
  • Commercial experience is a plus.
  • A desire to make a significant leap in the areas of commerce and leadership.
  • Excellent command of both Dutch and English.
