Strengthening Leadership and Feedback Culture with Selfie360.

Delft University of Technology (TU Delft) is committed to fostering strong leadership skills and an effective feedback culture among its employees. In this case study, we highlight a project aimed at enhancing the leadership model and feedback culture within the organisation.

The project was initiated in response to TU Delft’s need to increase employees’ awareness of their leadership skills and provide them with opportunities to receive feedback to support their personal growth.

Selfie360 as a Solution

In collaboration with InContext, the Selfie360 tool was developed. This innovative tool enabled participants to self-assess all aspects of TU Delft’s leadership profile. It allowed them to evaluate their ways of behaving in terms of frequency and to gauge the importance of every choice they make in their role.

Participants could also request feedback from colleagues, gaining valuable insights into how their behaviour was perceived. This feedback was incorporated into a report that participants received, empowering them to take targeted steps for personal growth and development in each area of their leadership profile.

Selfie360 as a Solution

360-Degree Feedback Made Simple!

The implementation of the Selfie360 tool has led to increased awareness among employees regarding relevant leadership components and growth opportunities. The tool was rolled out organisation-wide, allowing participants to schedule sessions at their own pace.

Thanks to the Selfie360 tool, TU Delft has cultivated a culture where giving and receiving feedback has become more accessible. This has strengthened the feedback culture and contributed to improved communication and collaboration across all levels of leadership.
